"I remember us drawing and scribbling in coloring books together
ever since we were 2 years old. I felt art was always 'something we
just did.' Mia kept drawing throughout high school, but I fell out of it
for a couple of years. I felt lost and confused. Clothes brought it all
back together for me. I graduated with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design from
Otis College of Art and Design. I am interested in both fashion and
costume design, but I also want to experiment with other fields of art.
I have a broad range of interests and influences, and I want my artistic
career to reflect that."

"My heroes are all master storytellers. I grew up listening to my father's
stories, devouring every book I could lay hands on, playing 'pretend' with
my sister, and drawing, drawing, drawing. I received a B.F.A. in Illustration
and a Minor in Writing from Otis College of Art and Design, in May 2007.
My passion for characters and stories keeps me drawing and painting
all day long.
